Hambrook Sports Club

A sports club in Hambrook seeks friendly, reliable people (18+) to serve drinks to skittles teams

Detailed Description

We're looking for friendly, reliable adults to serve from our bar on Monday and Wednesday nights (7:30 – 10:30 pm) when we have skittles team matches. Tasks include: talking to members, serving alcohol, soft drinks and snacks, operating the till, restocking the drinks fridge from the cellar as required, collecting glassware and operating our dishwasher, cleaning the bar area at the end of the shift – wiping tables, mopping floors.

Why these skills are required

Training will be provided, but you will need to be able to use a simple app on our tablet to record sales. You'll need good people skills to talk to members and their guests over the bar, and you'll need to clean up at the end of the shift. Although skittles matches aren't on every week, you'll need to be reliable so that we can open up in time for the skittles players and their guests.

What is in it for you

We are based on Whitsehill Common in Hambrook. If travelling by bus, the nearest stop is Whiteshill Church. There is a large, free to use car park next to the club.
