Detailed Description

Your role will include the following: Customer care - an enjoyable experience for our visitors Gallery supervision - making sure our collection, staff, and site is safe Supporting public when making enquiries - meet the needs of visitors Cleaning/basic conservation - basic tasks to keep collection and site clean and tidy Signposting - encouraging visitors to engage with exhibits in both galleries, make them aware of upcoming events and exhibitions Skills needed: Communication Skills Customer Care Understand and follow procedures Willingness to learn and deve

Why these skills are required

We can offer you the chance to work on projects at YHC such as conservation, exhibition creation, marketing, archiving and database work, as well as greeting and supporting members of the public to access our collections and exhibitions.

Time Commitment

Volunteer shifts are either 10:00-13:00, or 13:00-16:00 and volunteers typically volunteer once a week. We are especially keen to fill afternoon shifts
